Join the Chamber at the June Networking Luncheon where Clare Becker of Sonoma County Resource Recovery will be the featured guest and she will be speaking about the contract with the Town of Windsor\, recycling and organics sorting. Our Moderator will be intelligent and adventuresome Larry Laba keeping the action lively.\n\n\n\nFunds were raised during the Spring Fling wine event to support the Windsor Soroptimist Live Your Dream Awards program\, a unique education award for women who provide the primary financial support to their families. At the luncheon\, the Windsor Chamber will present their donation. Artist and owner of Ralph Beyer Art Studio\, who auctioned a few pieces of his artwork to benefit the program\, will be presenting his donation as well.\n\n\n\nWe will be out on Rodney Strong's patio where they will be pouring a selection of their wine and food will be from West Coast Sourdough.\n\n\n\nClare Becker Bio:\n\nShe is originally from Los Gatos (South Bay) and has a degree in environmental science with an ecology concentration from Santa Clara University. At SCRR she is the Outreach coordinator and SB 1383 specialist\; her job is to provide education on recycling best practices and work with the town\, businesses\, schools\, and community as a whole to increase landfill diversion\, promote sustainable disposal habits\, and remain in compliance with California state solid waste laws.  She does this through full waste audits\, presentations\, creating signage\, and media.
